When was the last time the expansions went on a bigger sale?

Has there ever been a bigger sale than 25% for Ashes of Malmouth and Forgotten Gods?

I have it on my wishlist for a long time and have almost never seen it go on a sale higher than 25%!

For such an old game, $20 for both the expansions it's still just too expensive for me. (Thanks to no regional pricing)

Remnant 2 is only $50 for me while the Grim Dawn expansions on sale is $20, I'd rater buy Remnant 2 for an additional $30.

Had a look at the price history on SteamDB, and it looks like Ashes of Malmouth was 60% off for one week in April and Forgotten Gods was 40% off for one week in March. No idea why the sale percentages and schedules for this game are this unpredictable. You might want to try setting up some alerts on IsThereAnyDeal or a similar service so you can catch the expansions with a better discount.

Can't remember what the discount was now but I bought the game (base game + expansions) during the last winter sale and as far as I can recall it was pretty heavily discounted then.

the dlc being on sale for 30% during summer was a huge downer, I was fully hoping to play the expansion by then

You could always go buy D4. Which is quite broken and offers a nice paywall. Grim Dawn in commentary even for a dated game is said to be quite solid compared to D4. Even some of the top D4 influencers and streamers are quiting D4.

GrimDawn is way worth its prices. Since most ARPG players spend alot f time with this game. The Quality of Life features is bar none compared to other titles. Best around! But, do you!

I already have Diablo 4 and I played it pre-season and season 1. Just waiting for their patch to fix and improve their game before I continue season 1. As of now season 1 is ♥♥♥♥.

Grim Dawn is worth.. but $20 for the expansions I feel is still a tad high at this point since even Forgotten Gods were released more 4 years ago.

If it is $20 for a brand new expansion with new classes, new acts, hundreds of new items to find with maybe some improvements to the game engine to make it look a little more pretty? Yeah sure.

Look at Steamdb website, very useful. I was about to buy the base game at -75%, when I saw it was at -80% during summer sale 2022. Then I don't buy it now, sorry.
