How many hours of content?
In the base game and each DLC? Is the DLC worth it?

I would say thousands of hours easily. If you're planning to just play through it once then 50-100 or so. I would say dlc is worth it if you're a fan of arpg's and plan on playing the game a lot with several characters. For just a casual playthrough though, meh.

If you just want the story I think the 50-100 stated above sound about right. DLCs, with their price, might not be worth it just for that though.

If you're a fan of ARPGs or more specifically Diablo-clones, get the DLCs and sink however many hundreds of hours into this. The game has a sort of unique take on grinding for loot far as similar games go, but it's a damn good one IMO. Roguelike dungeons are a fun challenge and guarantee you a Legendary past level 50.

Beetlejuice: I say 2 and a half of hours.
With the ongoing sale the base game is easily worth it. And if you really get hooked you can easily get hundreds or even thousands of hours of time out of it and the expansions.

Crucible is an arena type game, where you face off against waves of enemies and get loot that scales to how long you last, it doesn't effect the campaign at all, or give new classes. It's a good way to test builds, farm loot, get devotions and generally waste an hour or few instead of doing the campaign.
The official campaign can be speed run under 2 hours, especially with late game items transferred to a new character, but you would need to know where to go and what to do. If you did all the quests including the side quests, getting hidden loot, shrines and totems for the OC and DLC's, it can easily go to the other figures quoted, especially for a new player.
Ashes of Malmoth is about 3/4 the size of the OC, adds new classes and new loot, it also continues the story.
Forgotten Gods is about 1/2 the size of the OC, adds new classes and loot, has a separate story but it ties in with the main one, has an arena area that's different to the crucible, but you still get rewarded by how long you last.
Loyalty packs are purely cosmetic.

TLDR: Ashes of Malmoth and Forgotten gods add a lot of content, the rest of the DLC is optional.
As a new player doing everything, easily the top quoted figures.

Thanks very much all. Btw, how much time would you estimate is needed to 100% the achievements? I think I might go for the base game and if I like it enough then get the DLCs (on sale ofc).

Probably quite a while. You need at least 2 characters too as some achievements are tied to decisions, like choosing one of 2 factions, or deciding to be friendly/hostile with a certain faction in DLC. 1 achievement requires you to have 18 pets out at a same time meaning you need to have 1 pet character (don't know if it's even possible without Necromancer). 1 requires you to beat a super boss (meaning you need 1 very good character), and then there's all the end game dungeons on Ultimate with a Hardcore character (Hardcore means if you die, the character dies for good).

This game has some pretty complex stats, and stuff that isn't very intuitive like how Resist Reduction works, and semi hidden stats like Armor Absorption. If you really want to go for this as quickly as possible, you pretty much have to look at guides to help you, especially with the Hardcore stuff. It's definitely not some game you just buy and do the achievements quickly without much effort.

Thanks very much buddy. Think I'll go for the base game and then decide on the DLCs later.
