When on character select screen, I can't click on any of the buttons...

The mouse is working, I can see the pointer but if I try to click on any chars or the game types, it doesn't register my click. I can still rotate my character and use the up and down keys to change character but for some reason, I the mouse clicks on the buttons or characters no longer register.

I got the same problem. Trying to play this game again after a while. I don't know how to fix it either. Hope we can figure out the solution soon

Same issues after verifying files.

@Palupuka - same here. Been away for a time so want to get back into playing it but can't.

Have followed the other fixes listed in the document but no joy.

Also, it might also be worth mentioning that when I press Alt-Enter to switch from full screen to windowed - the game switches and the game window view is magnified so only the character is visible but none of the edges of the screen. Mouse however is confined to the screen edges. I did use to run the game in 4k when I had a 4k panel however have had a 1440p monitor for a while now. The settings aren't saved in the cloud too are they? Might try another install without cloud saves enabled to see how that goes.

Ok, so the 4K thing was definitely 'a thing' - went to the following path:

Documents\My Games\Grim Dawn\Settings\options.txt

Edited the line resolution to say 2560 1440 (it was previously at 3840×2160), saved the file and started the game. Works fine now! :)

Was going to say screen resolution. I ran into this problem back in the day when I switched monitors.
