Pet Defense ability useless?

Hi!
i saw the Defense ability formular for skeletons: (charLevel*4)+20
so if im max level the skeletons have 420 defense ability.
Even with 100% DA they have only 840 which means that they should have maximum chance to get a crit. So why should i collect % defense ability if they even with flat DA never get over 2000 DA?

not sure, but i don't think that formula is all there is/not up to date
according to grimtools skeleton pets have 2k da at lvl 100 https://www.grimtools.com/petdb/skill/3634/level/1 which would seem to make a lot more sense
-looks like they get 20 da per level instead

this seems correct. is there a possibility to see the stats for the skeleton archers/revenants/mages?

unsure, i tried seeing if they were there/"separate" myself, but seems only the warrior is listed in pet database, sorta assuming that just means it's a base stat shared among them all -which could be incorrect, but at the same time could also make sense
there might be a more thorough skeleton comparison somewhere on the Crate forum in one of the pet guides
