Crucible & Factions
After taking a break from Grim Dawn, I thought I would come back and play it again, given that we have our first DLC: The Crucible. However it feels a bit "So-So" to me as an Alternative gamemode. This is mainly due to not being able to work towards your faction points (among other things as well).

Does anyone know why factions (being able to earn points for them) were not carried over from the main game into the DLC?

It is already a pain in the ♥♥♥ to get to Nemesis. Not being able to farm them, while playing the Crucible kills my motivation to start a new character only for the Crucible. I was excited about trying out a new character only for it, but I am not sure :nay:

Because crucible is a survival mode rather then an alternative game mode in ur meaning of the word. Right now i would say its only rewarding to end game characters(that can clear the last wave). Its challenging and its a true test of ur build. Nothing more.

Crucible throws all monsters and bosses available in the game so thats why factions reputation doesnt work here. Even black legion which is our ally throughout the game can be killed in Crucible. In other words in Crucible all factions are your enemy but you wont lose or gain reputation from killing any of them

I wish it did though...
