That's the only way to refresh the shops at any quick pace.
Sure, they refresh based on time, and something else, but you don't run that timer down inside the shop screen.
I mean, I suppose if you took 10+ minutes staring at it, maybe.
It's lame do it when you check a shop.
How long were you in the shop screen?
I'm pretty sure the shops are not supposed to refresh unless you've been away far enough from them for a long enough period of time, or checked on another merchant in another location first.
Really, Trigger? That's so bizarre. Even if it runs on a timer, it shouldn't ever trigger like that.
How long did you spend in the menu?
Is it really set on a timer? With no check on where the player is? THat makes no sense to code it like that.
I wonder if there's any research on the shops in this game, and how they work?
This is the first time I heard of this issue, and it seems to be one that needs addressing for certain.
I mean, when does the timer start is the first question.
