Something for Nothing - Already Killed?

Hi, I killed one of the quest mobs for Something for Nothing before I had the quest, but that mob is not shown as killed. Specifically, I killed Farros, the Rotted on the way to the burial ground for the first quest.

How do I get the game to recognize that kill and/or respawn the mob?

log out and back in, mobs should respawn.
