Occultist/Shaman Combination = Awesome
Currently running Occu and Shaman together as a Pet build and it's AWESOME!
I'm very new to the game but this is my second character and it smashes everything!
If you got some tips for me regarding pet builds please comment ur build or anything below, I'm open for suggestions! Few glitches but nothing i cant work around.

My Build so far: http://grimcalc.com/build/YsTje93
Remember I'm only level 34!

Pet builds are excellent, but you will have a very difficult time against the games end boss.

Also, what are you focusing on for your devotions? This is a very powerful Attack-Proc Devotion build, with access to several powerful pet buffs that you can put up reliably depending on the skill choices you go with, but your Devotion points end up getting really tight at the end.

Better is not the proper term, since so much of how you create your build is dependent on your particular playstyle and which skills you are using how often. That said, I am curious why you are choosing Scorpion rather than a more pet-centric constellation.

My build along with Devotion: http://grimcalc.com/build/Fy2hOe7

As you will note, I have some boosts to skills so that is not the invested points but current skills as of level 80. Devotion assignments are as follows:

Flame Torrent-> Summon Hellhound
Guardian's Gaze-> Summon Briarthorn
Acid Spray-> Summon Blighted Rift Scourge (From Blightshard Amulet. Still looking for an Empowered drop.)
Elemental Storm-> Summon Revenant of Og'Napesh (From Black Grimoire of Og'Napesh. Also still looking for an Empowered Drop.)
Bysmiel's Command-> Curse of Frailty
Howl of Mogdrogen-> Devouring Swarm
Shepherd's Call-> Grasping Vines
Eldritch Fire-> (Will be) Wendigo Totem (4 pts from 50)

The basic playstyle is to let your pets proc your DPS devotions and use your debuffs and DoTs to apply your buffing and enhancement devotion procs. Against 99% of enemies you encounter, you will melt them in seconds. The other 1% will crush you flatter than a pancake. You won't quite be glass cannon until very late game, but I'm finding I can only take a hit or two on Ultimate currently.

No Devouring Swarm? I love that skill. Most boss fights I just run around in a circle and spam that over the pets.

What Relic are the best ones?
Kemwer Jun 13, 2016 @ 1:31am
Personally I would go with Savage(I think. The one with the summon.) until about level 60 or 70. Above that, the pet doesn't hold up in combat and switching to Ancestor for the additional pet buff aura instead is a good bet. Even my revenant and rift scourge are having a hard time staying alive in prolonged (Read: Multi-Champion, Nemesis, and some Boss) fights. Persistent AoEs also tend to eat pet health since they don't move out of them. Rift Scourges on Ultimate are going to melt your pets a lot.

That said, it depends on how your play style pans out. Are you the DPS and your pets are just your distraction? Are you tanking while your pets are DPS? Are you a Debuff/Controller while your pets handle both tanking and dps duties? Each of these different roles might push you towards a different Relic.
