Demolitionist/Soldier pure rifleman build?
I was going to do demo/inquisitor for a pure rifleman build, but i don't have the dlc as it turns out.

For reference: Don't want to cast spells or throw moltovs, mostly just shoot things really good.

So.... I think the next best is soldier/demo for raw rifle? Any builds you could share?
Would greatly appreciate it.

Idea is to go for full physical to fire conversion. This probably isn't nowhere as good as purifier would be because you are missing those juicy weapon pool skills from inquisitor.

Pyromancer is usually the go to build for those who don't have the expansions. Soldier would be another possibility.

The main problem is you're going to be limiting yourself by not taking any other useful skills like Blackwater Cocktail. It's a great skill for reducing resistances and maxed covers a large area.

I'd really like to keep it as close to just shooting as possible. Have any builds that aim sort of in that direction? I'm fine using skills here and there. Especially need help on the devotions,

Not really because the game isn't designed around using just one skill.

Druid is good if you just want to shoot things with a rifle. Shaman/Arcanist. You want primal strike, feral hunger and heart of the wild from the shaman tree, and the iskandras elemental exchange tree from arcanist, + some arcane will for bosses, and some maivens and maybe mirror of erecotese as a panic button. Put primal strike on your left hand button, put blessed steel on your rifle at level 24 and put its attack on your right hand mouse button.

i just finished the base game with a demo/solider aka commando. it was the most fun i had in an arpg in a long time. but i still went with 2 other active skills, the flashbang and grenade.

i focused on fire damage with demo and soilder i used for all the defensive passives and buffs to default attacks, which i used firestrike for. pretty fun. confuse with flash, and knock everyone around with grenades with you can, as you run around dodging and hiding behind cover.

devotion i was kinda at a lost and went all over the place, but if you don't want tanky and want more fire, i heard going for the s witchblade and smart, or any elemental, the crown.

haven't tried a pure physical rifleman, but looking at the skills it could be done, since cadence works with ranged.

Can I stack cadence & firestrike? Or do I have to choose between the two?

Gotta choose
