How do I remove and reuse a glyph?
Spent a long time compiling the components for this thing, so please don't tell me there is no way to remove it without destroying it.

Just make another one, they're super cheap, easy to make.

Eldritch essence is hard to come by. This game really frustrates me.
Can't remove them, can only put another one on top of it to replace it far as I know.

Did you try removing it at the inventor's apprentice?

This makes no sense. I can remove crap components, why not the really difficult to make item? WTH?

We all called it two decades ago that /they/ would ruin everything for us.

Good call since it isn't even 2 decades that GD has been in the works. :steammocking:

I totally wasted this glyph on a crap medal thinking I could remove it and put it on a different item. Sigh. Taking a long break from this game.

No, because I'm afraid of losing it. It appears that I can destroy the component and keep the item along with the attached glyph, or I can keep the component and lose the item along with the glyph. The only other option I can see is to remove the glyph by itself, but the tooltip says the glyph is destroyed. I don't care about losing the item or the component, I just want to keep the glyph because they are much harder to come by.

AFAIK you can't destroy the item to keep the glyph or any other augment. You can only destroy it and keep the item. Only thing that can be recovered are components, which are in general more expensive than augments.

Even though Eldritch Essences are kind of rare-ish, you cannot do much about this, so I would suggest to cut your losses and move on.

If you want to use movement runes on cheaper gear or during early game, I would suggest using the cheap ones you can get as reputation rewards from FG cults and only use the more expensive crafted ones once you get an item you want to keep for a while.

Anytime you are dealing with extremely rare items you should always double check to make sure what you can and cannot do with that item at a later date. Just do a search on the Internet or come here and ask people.

GD stash another one, geez.
