Leveling past 35
I seem to have hit a wall at level 35. Trying to go through main quests and side quests but right about level 35 I am finding the areas a bit more than I can handle. Is there a better way to level up a few levels before continuing? Or do I just suck that bad??? lol Most mobs at this point in the story and side quests appear to be around level 40-45

What class are you playing? Upload your build into the grimtools Build Calc so others can see it and give you some advice on what's wrong.

Click on the arrow with a bar underneath it on the lefthand side of the screen, navigate to where your character is saved and then the player.gdc file. That'll open in in the calc and then copy the link (next icon down from the arrow/bar) and paste it here.

The bug area outside Homestead is decent farm spot. The semi hidden cave with the shrine also has enemy that drops MI ring. Doing Pine Barrens is another spot to do if you havent before moving on to Blood grove and beyond

But, yeh, it should not be too rough to just go through story w/o having to farm exp. If you post your toon here ppl will help you

W/O looking at your toon, I'm goign to guess not enough mastery points. Common mistake is to not pump mastery. You need it over pumping a skill.

You seem to be a little under-leveled, just grind the latest Boss you killed half a dozen times, and look for good solid defensive gear. When leveling, most of your damage comes from your skills, so it's better to build a good defense with your gear.

On that note, try to replace all your under-leveled pieces of gear, because they probably don't give much armor at that point. Try finding greens with Health and/or Health%, and resists, especially piercing against archers, around your level. %Damage is nice but not as important as defenses, at first (changes a bit at high level).

Try and find all the devotion shrines. Those can help out your character with defense. For an example the turtle devotion should be very easy to get at your level. It provides good defense.

Like others have stated do no spread out your skills to much. Sometime its better to build up one skill and wait for the others. The number one mistake a lot of people make is not having enough health options and no defense. They go all out for attack skills. While those are cool defense and healing options keeps your character alive and still fighting.
