The order of events for Conversion is as follows: Base Skill > Skill Modifiers > Conversion on the Skill or Transmuter > Conversion on Equipment and Buffs > Equipment, Auras and Passives
So you would obviously use this if you had a bunch of elemental damage boosts and not if you were investing heavily in physical damage boosts. It's a transmuter, so it's supposed to change the use case (note all equipment auras and passives are after the transmuter).
Gotcha! So if youfocus more ele damage then you would get Discord.
Thanks for the input!
Say, if you have 100 base physical damage, +50% physical damage and +25% elemental damage, you'll get 100+50%= 150 damage on normal attack. At level 3 Discord, you will only get 50+50% = 75 physical and 50+25% = 62.5 elemental, totalling in 137.5 damage. Someone like my character, who has about 200% physical and 600% elemental, however, would get a huge boost by Discord.
Discord, as with most transmuter (green gem) skills is not flat upgrades of the base skills - these transmuters are more like sidegrades that make the skills more useful in some way and less useful in others.
the dps still drops by alot
again there are no +% bonuses active for anything
Teamspeak = Greatest DPS boost of our generation.
