Crucible Checkpoints?

I've gotten as far as the 30s-40s in Crucible waves multiple times, I think the highest I ever made it was 41 or 42? Anyway my question is when the hell do I get a checkpoint? I'd love to stop fighting crap zombies/etc. over and over on waves 1-10 any day now, even starting at 11 would be a breath of fresh air.

Could be worse: my first time in I died in the final rush of wave 150. Then later that day, a guy posted that he did the exact same thing with a hardcore character.

Haha yea Crucible can be rough.

On my pyromancer's first few attempts at Aspirant, I died twice on wave 147 then once on wave 150.

Just keep at it and you will make it further.

too much risk running a HCC in crucible specially when its new and devs are still toning it. i have 85+ resists on everything then suddenly an aether enemy halves it down to 40. two combo blasts later and poof you dead. btw if you finish 150, you can restart to 130 thrice. best way to farm legendaries.
