Need some suggestions for Devotion
I'm currently playing a poison/acid Warlock, using DEE with Focused Gaze. I'm not really sure where to go with my Devotions, so far I have:
- Rat
- Viper
- Scorpion (Scorpion Sting on DEE)
- Manticore (Acid Spray on Curse of Frailty)
- Eye of the Guardian (didn't get to Guardian's Gaze yet, and I don't have a skill to affect it to anyway... will probably take it for the completion bonus)

...which puts me currently at 24/50 devotion.

I'd like to get to Abomination for the large poison/acid damage boosts, but that 18 Eldritch requirement... eww... any advice as to what to take to get there? Would Spider be a good choice for such a build?

Hello.

Abomination is most likely the most powerful skill in the tree. As any kind of poison char you have to get it. Once you have it you will see why. It makes fights with large crowds of enemies a joke.

Play around with the devotion tree on grimcalc. Try different builds and if you are not happy with your choices in the game you can still respec the devotion points and choose something else.

As Parallaxe points out, you will definitely want to get Abomination with its giant poison-nova-explosion of confusing-aoe-goodness.

Here's an example of the devotions I use for my DEE Warlock:
- Scorpion (Curse of Frailty) - Rat - Viper - Sailor's Guide - Spider - Wendigo (Bloody Pox)
- Manticore (DEE) - Oklaine's Lantern - Behemoth (Possession) - Abomination (Sigil of Cons)
(All listed constellations are complete except the back leg of Manticore and the right arm of Abomination)

Sidequestion for poison/acid Warlock, is Focused gase a must or theres pros/cons on it?

Focused Gaze is more for melee characters who want to use DEE in their damage rotation.

It increases the explosion radius and damage of each eye and provides some reduced enemy physical damage, but gives it a 4-second cooldown.

Not recommended if you want to be a caster with DEE as your main attack.
