Plus one of the skills Reduces armor and the other Reduces DA. Plus he has an aura that further debuffs your OA, DA, and Elemental Resists.
Diablo-likes (and most any RPG-type games) primary mechanics for adjusting difficulty are always heavily based around resistances and debuffs of various sorts. This is par for the course. They are mostly always about the numbers.
I do gotta say, the way the main boss fights lock us in a phone booth with a super fast, rapid attacking, AOE, stun spamming bullet sponge is quite annoying. I did a Skeleton Key earlier where I was locked in plaza with swarms of some big fat fast moving flesh hulks or something. Banzai charged me with super speed, surrounded me and pummelled me. Pretty dumb. I lost all the loot the boss dropped....
Oh sweet summer child, people have reached level 100 in hardcore without picking a class or skills...
As for Kymon, him and the grove boss, both drop volcanoes under you, they have a horrible shotgun effect, if you stand on them it hits with all the projectiles. Stay mobile, oh and as Powbam said they usually do lots of physical damage as well, which can be brutal.
what are u talking about? seems like u never tried then,
after pushing twice through the content on softcore I managed to clear all story content on hardcore ultimate on my first try, only to then die to the 7th lvl in the sr, basic content isn't that hard if u are cautious the challenging part starts afterwards is what it felt like to me.
i did it, the only head left in hardcore is crate entertaiment for me. i was common folks in grimdawn, very common.
was.....
To me it just feels a bit OP some bosses still need some work, like that Kraken boss took like a half year or something before it was fixed. On Ultimate there seemed to be an invisible wall right infront of him because my character couldn't hit him. Killed him just a few days ago
Huh?? I killed the kraken boss the day it was released with my melee dude... I wasn't aware there was an invisible wall
