The last time I looked for a definitive answer, I couldn't find one. Every other person has a different answer. I, for one, have tested attack speed with player-scaled pets and it didn't make a lick of difference. Sorry I can't be more help XD
what does pet scale with you is OA%, %Crit damage, %Damage. that as far i know, while i still testing conversion but it seems conversion work to pet scale with player too.
No worries. It's a shame the information can't be found on the official game guide.
Cool. Do you happen to know if the pet also gains flat OA/damage bonuses from equipment? (would be weird if the Sand Devil doesn't benefit from the OA boost from the relic it's created from) Or if the scaling happens only at the time the pet is created?
no they did not gain flat OA or damage bonuses, some pet also doesn't get allies aura effect example iskandra elemental exchange or presence of virtue on guardian of empyrion.
Thanks for clarifying. Scaling options for these types of pets for damage seems to be pretty narrow. Do players normally rely on these pets for dealing damage? Having near 2.5 K damage for a Sand Devil seems to be pretty low for Ultimate.(even doubling that damage doesn't seem to make the pet worthwhile, I feel)
Player-scaled pets are regulated closely because they add damage to builds that can already deal significant damage. While you can focus on them and do fine, they're usually used more as supplemental damage and vectors to proc other skills.
yep Azrakaa sand devil is not a good pet. if you want real immortal thugs guardian of empyrion are really good.
Interesting, thanks for the info. Am I right in assuming that in the case of player-scaled pets that can't be vectors to proc other skills (i,e, revenant skeletons, sand devils, living shadows), the only criterion for picking them would be a secondary effect like RR or lifesteal?
I love the RR on guardians of empyrion! Quick question: what sort of damage numbers do you usually get out of one of the guardians?
On my lvl95 paladin that isn't optimized yet:
Guardians of Empyrion damage:
Attacks are average 7500
Burn is around 4000
Celestial presence around 4000 aoe
Eldritch fire devotion around 4000 aoe-like
Eldritch fire has near 100% up time, making guardians really good at spreading it. Combined with celestial presence, they're debuffing enemy fire resistance by 55%.
normaly would be around 3k and aura 1.5k that number without proper equipment.
but with some MI item, you can have 5 guardian empyrion.

Dang, those are pretty good numbers. Thanks for sharing!
