What? Do you mean the item Double-Barrel Pistol[www.grimtools.com]? Because you have to find the blueprint[www.grimtools.com] for it. There's a few special merchants that sell random nonfaction blueprints, but 1) I don't if that one is in the pool that they draw from and 2) by the time you reach them you'll have outleveled the item. In fact if this isn't a later character that already has access to the blueprint, it's probably best to look for a different item and forget about that one, because the chances of getting the BP while you're low enough level to make good use of it are probably slim, since it's a level 15 weapon*. Apparently it's exclusive to a particular blacksmith; if you didn't pick Duncan in the Tale of Two Blacksmiths quest then check out below. If you haven't done the quest yet, choose him. Either way the components mentioned will be useful if you aren't using them.

Since it seems that you're looking for a fire based weapon, I'd recommend looking for something with either the searing or infernal prefixes, and maybe seeing if you can get either a Searing Ember[www.grimtools.com], Flintcore Bolts[www.grimtools.com], or Enchanted Flint[www.grimtools.com] (this would have to be put in a shield or off-hand item, since it can't be used in ranged weapons, but it gives the Burning Weapons toggleable skill, so it could be a good supplement to one of the others in your weapon). You might even get lucky and get a Devil-Touched Ammo[www.grimtools.com].

You should also keep an eye out for Leander Greene's Hand Cannon[www.grimtools.com] once you reach level 23 (might show up before then, just hold onto it), and once you reach level 25 you can hope for either a Marauder's Fury[www.grimtools.com], or Aldur's Inquisition[www.grimtools.com] though the latter is definitely less useful to a fire build.

Of course you can always try to kill bosses and clear totems in hopes of finding it and you might just get lucky. Might be able to get someone to trade one to you as well.

*Item level is actually 18, but it's available to use at player level 15.

The only way to get blueprints is through random drops or by buying them from faction vendors.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Why can't there be some kind of indication of that in GrimTools? It says that you need a blueprint and that there's a blueprint item. Why can't it just say something like Blacksmith: Duncan?
