Whats With The CPU Temps In This Game?
CPU Temps are hitting 80c in this game and in this game only. I don't really understand.... Elden Ring, Doom Eternal my temps are mid 60s, but 15 mins in this game I am hitting 78-81c. Anyone have any suggestions?

3080, Ryzen 5900x, 16gb

Does the game have a profile set up in the nVidia Control Panel?

I've seen games sometimes not be added there, which causes all sorts of weirdness, including very low GPU utilization. Check the "Manage 3D Settings" area, click on the "Program Settings" tab and make sure Grim Dawn is there.

If it's not, add it. If it is? Then I have no idea; I never experienced such issues with this game, although it's been quite some time since I've played it.

That did the trick. Added it to my program list and went ahead and turned on Threaded Optimization. Sitting at a solid 75c now. Appreciate the help brother!

It still shouldn't be running that hot unless you have the framerate uncapped, you should probably turn on v-sync

First of all, the increased room temperature in summer plays a big role, maybe change the pc case with better waste heat, clean the gpu and cpu fan with compressed air, disable vsync and limit the fps in the driver settings. Make sure that the cpu cooler, if large, is not installed too close to the gpu (then replace it with a smaller fan).

In the summer you can also leave the housing open on one side and observe the temperatures, then you will know that you need a new or better housing.

And also check the case fans if you have any installed. Are they still working properly and blowing in the right direction (outwards). If heat builds up in your case, you need to fix the problem.

You should lock your fps so cpu temps don't go high.

Thats still a good temp and probably average for a 5900x as the latest Ryzen chips do like to run hot!
