Crucible Tribute exchange on new character?

So yeah i have a brand new spankin character its lvl 58 1,3k. Phys damage amoungst others elementalist with just boatloads of damage and survivability.

I basically slaughtered my way up.yhr normal crucible..

I went to.the devotion exchange and she wants 30? Tributes? Isnt the starting amount 10? Does crucible screw over all my new characters because my 1st original guy spent tributes on devotion points?

Wait.. you can exchange tributes for devotion points? Lol. Damn... I have to have noticed that at some point and just didn't think about it ever again. Anyway, I clearly don't know lol. I wouldn't think it works that way, could it be level based? Idk.

I dunno when indid it mu 1st character was around 40 -50s its first couple time. Cost me 10 tributes. First couple times.


My new heavily optimized guy was 58.

Btw Jezues Christ is crucible way more insane on multiplayer. Byr it was fun!
If the dude i played with last sees this thanks! I was devotion farming but i saw alot of purples repeating wave 130.

Hmm yeah, that's weird. I don't remember a whole lot about the ins and outs of crucible, since it's a very scary place on HC. I still gotta get my 50 defenses achievement at some point from there. Kinda slacking on finishing them off.

The tributes needed for devotion points goes up based on how many devotion points your current character has. IIRC, it's 10 tributes per point for the first 5, 15 for the next 5 (I think, might be 10), then 20, 25, etc.
