How easy it is to cap resistances on elite/ultimate?
I'm playing new game on veteran difficulty, and I've noticed that much like in Path of Exile, resistance capping is a must.

I read on a loading screen tip that later difficulties remove resists, and juggling them during leveling is a nice loop in gearing, but I'd expect the resistance nerf on Ultimate to be way too extreme to keep up, unless you get some really simple and high% resistance items later on.

Currently my highest resistance item to one element is a +49% Fire resist, can you get multi resist items that high or is that basically two good rolls combined?

Its not that hard. You have a lot of ways to improve your resistances, to the point that you will probably have something like 100% overcap in elemental.
Thats not the issue.

Now, getting to cap is easy, but it isnt enough. You need around 20, better 30 overcap on all resistances to overcome enemies resistance reduction. Thats is harder, but then again, you have augments and components to cover all your needs.

Cool, cool.
I just found out I completely overlooked the relic slot that I thought was for augments from later game faction rewards, now I have a good physical shield for some time until I find a better recipe.

But if it's easy enough to swap gear later on, then game gud.

Augments apply dirrectly to gear like components.

It's not hard at all by itself. You'll start finding greens with like 60% to one, 30% to another, and 20% to another. The only thing that makes it a challenging puzzle, is trying to overcap them all while also hitting around 3k OA and DA, and around max (or near max) armor absorption. But that's just for end game tweaked builds that do shattered realms or celestial bosses.

Only elite difficulty with the paper item on each vendor. Reputation becomes a breeze. I suggest doing main campaign fast u hardly get loot/rep in normal. Elite gets u the real feel for the game.

U can go back to normal as you please.
Post Necropolis u can go to elite or continue ur normal further chapters.

Normal u might get 100 for a blunty quest. Elite u get 500 750 etc. Way more rep.

Doing skill point. And attribute quest. Getting all devotion shrines.

I just started last week but im on my second toon! Loving this games customization for builds.

Too bad i cant character custom face skintone etc but that doesnt matter mucb as ur covered in armor.

All armor slots can get components and augments. Factions and blueprints give augments. Its mostly the factions.

Ur caps are 80% unless u have a skill or item that increases ur cap.

If ur using a ps4 controller be sure to give my config a whirl and checkmark move skills go max distance in the games options. For maximum couch potato.

Reps that matter. Homestead. Black legion. Rovers. Devils crossing.

The three cults. As soon as you can go to forgotten gods realm go. Why? Because it allows u to get faction rep throughout ur normal game.

Devotion and faction augments matter alot.

Its important to meet each faction n do their intro quest. That way u can reap reputation just killing monsters ans u do that alot.

The trick isn't capping them so much as overcapping them for Ultimate. High 90's is where you want to be.
