Grim Tools and Components?

How do you put components and add-ons to equipment in Grim Tools? I have been clicking on portraits with button combinations and nothing prompts me to be able to add on components. I have already Google'd this.

I'd never done it before myself except for uploading my characters directly which shows your already added components. So I went ahead and tried to add it on a blank GrimTools page and it was simple. I first clicked on the weapon slot, clicked a base sword, then clicked the Components tab and then clicked Chilled Steel, then click the Save icon in the upper right and done. Component added.

Looks pretty simple.

One of those moments. Where you looking for something and it is staring you in the face and you still can't see it. I went back and saw the tabs front and center.... I even see augments. Thank you.
