Voids Edge problem

So I killed the creature in the Loghorrean. Then what next? A rift appears and takes me back to Necropolis Interior. What am I next to go? I have a quest to meet Ulgrim at Voids Edge; but no idea how to get there.

Talk to Inquisitor Creed at Fort Ikon. He'll give you some items and then you need to go back to Burrwitch Village riftgate and head north along the road. You'll find an aetherial barrier there which you need to destroy to continue into the Ashes of Malmouth content.

Usually after beating Log (tentacle boss), you have to speak with Inquisitor Creed, then you break the Aether Wall of North Burwitch Willage, you kill a giant crab, take it's heart and speak to Coven leader... then decide to be friendly or unfriendly with Borrowholm and finally after gettting item from Borrowholm faction group, Coven Witch leader will grant you access to Void's Edge...

Where you will fight your way to Lone Watch, south of Malmouth Outskirts, as well meet Ulgrim and maybe even bring a friendly duel with him.

Once you have killed Log, you speak to Creed for a reward and next part
It also means you have unlocked next difficulty

Your choice to continue the story in this difficulty, or to switch to next one and restart in Act 1
You can always come back anyway
