Is it important to do side quest early game?
Im moving my way to act 3, and cleared some but not all side quest. Is there any reason to do them now or just focus on level up and progress?
I know there is a few quest that gives skill points / attributes etc. Unlocked 2 bag extra and the Inventor.
Would I miss anything else important if I just smash on now?

pretty much all quest is kinda important, since they boost factions and exp. for me i guess.

But wont you get faction rep later on from stuff etc so its "less important" early on? Or do you need to do all quest to be max with all factions?
Exp is nice too, but if I gain more exp killing stuff in less time then search for quest objective :P

No, it isnt really important
Needed quests block the path, so, you cant miss them

Secondray quests are skippable...
XP, noone cares, XP is everywhere
Same with items
Reput is debatable, but you get reput much faster in Ultimate, so farming reput before is kind of a waste
There is lore...for first timers

Only secondary quests that are 'important' are the skillpoints / attributes ones like Hidden path
You still can do them later

the quest is pretty much kill something or search something in area, that area has monster in it pretty much you do same thing with efficient & benefit, also you need all powder accecories and weapon ready before level 50 or touch malmout.

Yes, and I do quest I manage to complete on the run, but if its only exp I gain there is not much to backtrack and search for it? :)

This I would disagree with the XP from most missions especially story or faction critical ones is huge compared to what you'd get just killing mobs. If your also wearing lokarrs gear and an xp potion homesteads set of quests and side quests for example can net you multiple levels easily, it becomes optimal to do as many quests as possible as you can often complete them faster than you would killing the equivalent amount of mobs. This of course is if you want to level as fast as possible to 94 which most builds do.

once you play thousand hours you never gonna search it again, because you know everything straight forward.

Simple answer - no.

Long answer - Because you may be that type of person who doesn't really care about small things atm, and surely knows that you will come back there later anyway, which is not a bad option.

I myself, did try to explore and beat every single quest at first so that it's easier for me to continue storyline while getting some gear up for first time.

Well im long away from thousand hours ;)

But overall, I guess its nice to grab those quest you can do on the way, but no need to spend way to much time to complete a mission? Like search for objective etc.

I would not skip pick up a quest for ofc, if I manage to complete it on the run its free exp, or if im close to an objective etc.

But did backtrack yesterday for a side quest and had to search a "long time" (feelt it was long time) for the objective, this was kinda waste it feelt like :)

Yep, dont waste time searching for objectives if you dont want to

Still, 2 things...

Maps are static, so, the sooner you learn them, the faster you will do later

There are 2 sorts of secondary quests, one timers and repeatable (faction related), all skippable
Obviously repeatable 'have to' be skipped in low difficulties...those are pure waste of time
Now, it doesnt hurt to take all quests you can and complete on the go if possible...and ignore if out of the way

well if you want really quick, just go toward the final quest, should take only 1-2 hours you probalby finish at level 28 or more, then go pick up ulgrim in void, after that farming in malmouth till level 70 or 80 and marked all bosses in there, so you can buy clarity potion at early level.

might be worth to add that those repeatable "quests" are called Bounties, and are only available from the faction bounty table, so you don't just "stumble" upon repeatable quests, you have to actively take it from the table with the green icon thingy
all other quests given to you from NPC are "1time"/normal quests

and to add my opinion, for your first char/"main", that you plan on doing Elite/Ultimate with, i think it's absolutely worth to take and do all the (*normal/non-bounty) side-quests to get your reputation up that extra bit faster,
*(only "bother" do bounties to boost a specific faction rep you want "naow")
since getting access to faction items/augments "earlier" can be really helpful, -not to mention the Writ to boost reputation as early as possible, and then ofc a Mandate to send to your alt chars so you never have to worry about side quests again ;)

If you don't do certain sidequests, they'll lock off as you proceed through acts and be unavailable. For instance, there's a sidequest that, if you don't complete it in Act I, it'll become incompleteable.
The cult of Bloodsworn you need to eliminate won't be there, and you'll find the NPC you need to kill in Act II-III in Cronley's Hideout, having become an Ascended. He won't count for the quest there, and he'll mention that he briefly joined a Bloodsworn cult before falling in with Cronley's Gang.

I find that it's best to do sidequests sooner rather than later. Not all of them lock off like that, but there are a few that do.
