2H Death Knight builds.
Are they very common? If so, what are the common damage types they tend to float towards? I assume Physical and.. maybe Cold? or Vitality?

The best option for 2H death knight probably is Leviathan, the weapon itself deal physical damage and convert cold and vitality into physical damage.

Meanwhile there is also krieg set that support physical and aether damage for death knight

I made my own with pure vitality damage, Korvan Halberd and blood knight set.

Mine is also vitality, but physical is a strong choice with leviathan or stone fist rebuke

Haha, well thanks for all the information!

Blood Knight sounds like the kind of set I was looking for, to be honest. I'm aiming to be pretty tanky to begin with, so life steal is definitely something I'm also interested in for self-sustainability later on.

Yup, it is great. Can literally keep myself full with every swing (or two:p - but feeling of immortality fade off quickly on Ultimate SR with many various enemies and bosses at same time / particularly if you need move/

Btw for same reason - even as it was not originally intended that summons are really helpful (for me it is skellies from pendant and Revenant devotion + avatar from complete Set) - I dont care so much of their damage but they provide significant RR and even those distractions of enemies are improtant as they give you valuable seconds or prevent all bosses jump on you at once blocking heir paths a bit (SR boss levels)

I never cared much for summons, unless they scale with player bonuses.. most of them do not, unfortunately.

For now, I'm leveling this DK as pure Physical/Trauma.. later on, though, I'll have to reset things and cater towards Vitality damage also, since the Blood Knight set is pretty heavy with Vitality damage.. and also Bone Harvest; so I'll have to switch from Forcewave also.. but that's fine.

Also kind of internally debating on which exclusive to use; Oleron's Rage (what I'm going with for the Physical leveling build) or Harbinger of Souls.

I know the OA from Oleron's is invaluable later, but the survivability and damage from Harbinger isn't anything to scoff at honestly; namely the leech and raw attack speed. However, I feel like both of those can be obtained elsewhere with little investment.. so in the end Oleron's Might be the best choice.. I assume so considering the massive amount of OA it grants.

Until then, though, I have to farm Malmouth rep on my Reaper to buy XP pots. :(

I would say for vitality build Harbringer and extra life steal {heck it is another +10%+) is clear choice and it was mine as well, that physical bvonuses from OR are all wasted (yes, part is converted.. but still).
