XP gain per difficulty
I've looked online but haven't found a definitive explanation of what it is per difficulty level. Does anyone know or have a link
Thanks

not sure about the numbers but the higher the diff the more xp you gain for sure. Also it depends on the monster level compared to yours. That is what creates the balance of better xp/min. You want to be killing in the highest diff and highest level at the fastest pace you can. So sometimes lower level will net you more xp as you are killing more and moving faster.

I'm just surprised there isn't a formula or breakdown somewhere that I can find. All I have seen is that it's 10% more on veteran, I've played through elite and it's def more, especially early on if you use a merit or Defiler to start from scratch on a higher difficulty you level like four times over from completing early quests.

10% more on veteran over normal. That is all ther is to it. As stated above, XP is determined by your level compared to what you are tackling. Want more XP? Go to a higher level zone.

Besides quests give far more XP than any other method short of cheating.

Normal: (((monsterLevel*12.75-(averagePartyLevel*averagePartyLevel/50))+((monsterLevel-averagePartyLevel)*(averagePartyLevel/1.12)))*0.12)*(1+(monsterExperience/100))+3

Veteran: ((((monsterLevel*12.75-(averagePartyLevel*averagePartyLevel/50))+((monsterLevel-averagePartyLevel)*(averagePartyLevel/1.12)))*0.12)*(1+(monsterExperience/100))+3)*1.1

Elite: ((((monsterLevel*12.75-(averagePartyLevel*averagePartyLevel/50))+((monsterLevel-averagePartyLevel)*(averagePartyLevel/1.12)))*0.12)*(1+(monsterExperience/100))+3)^1.03

Ultimate: ((((monsterLevel*12.75-(averagePartyLevel*averagePartyLevel/50))+((monsterLevel-averagePartyLevel)*(averagePartyLevel/1.12)))*0.12)*(1+(monsterExperience/100))+3)^1.06

Thanks for the above formulas, and correct me if I'm wrong but it seems to be exponentially more XP for early quests. I'd been using Defiler however, after I get the first inventory bag. Does this change with a Merit? Guess I'll find out I have a new character I'm going to try one on.
I finished most everything on Elite and am still at level 92
If the above formulae are correct looks like it may be similar on ultimate - depending on the quest XP gain. That's my only gripe right now.
Because me hate level caps
And I don't want to mod the game mechanics

The formulas are taken directly from gameengine.dbr, which can be accessed, along with all the game files, through the mod tools, which are included inside the game folder.

So is it actually more XP from monsters on Veteran vs Elite and Ultimate? Would seem from above
