East Marsh sealed area

Traveling along the northern edge of East Marsh, I came across a large rock that was "sealed with eldritch forces". I didn't recall seeing any such thing there before; is it part of the expansion?

Also, I couldn't figure out how to enter. That sort of message could indicate a "rogue" type dungeon, but when I went back there with a crafted skeleton key, I still could not gain access.

Is it a new Faction quest, perhaps? Anyone have an idea?

Never mind. I found out what it is. Won't say for fear of spoilers, but it came as a bit of a surprise to me.

it's already been there in the original game. part of a somewhat hidden questline. don't want to spoil it it you want find it for yourself. otherwise, search for the "hidden path" quest. i think there is also a guide for it in the guide section

It's part of the hidden path, it was added awhile ago, I'm not gonna spoil anything so if you prefer to find things out for yourself you better start scrounging around. or google.

I was surprised because I expected to find it in a totally differnt area, rather than having to return to East Marsh.

There's also another faction quest out that way. You get it at Fort Ikon

That and some other end-of-difficulty things are essentially what East Marsh is there for.
