It can primary as a ranged class, in which case demo, soldier, and arcanist all bring quite good synergy.
Caster? Arcanist, shaman, demo, and necro all look like they'd work quite well.
It could be the secondary to a melee build too, soldier and nightblade spring to mind.
In fact the only class I see very little synergy with is occultist, and I'm that can be made to work too.
It could synergize with Occultist if you wanted to use Flames of Ignatar's transmutation. It becomes a powerful chaos/vitality attack that Occultist's abilites would support well. Add in Curse of Frailty for Vit resistance reduction, Possession for extra damage, Blood of Dreeg and Word of Renewal for buffs, resistances, and healing. I dunno, might have potential
Could work, from what I've seen Flame of Ignaffar is quite well gear-supported. Chaos damage is quite viable from both a gear and devotion perspective. It'd be interesting to try.
In which case literally any class can work with Inquisitor, you just need to build according to the synergy.
i like damage over time abilities and since inquisitor has skills like word of pain and stormbox, i'm using those and bloody pox (no transmute) from occultist. curse of frailty makes kiting easier also.
it's hilarious cursing everybody with hurtful words, ebola, and the angry spirit of nikola tesla as i run around like a headless chicken
i'm lacking single target dps but i'll worry about that later, im sure i can figure something out when i need to cross that bridge. maybe i'll try that flames transmutation like phadin says.
Yeah, no. That might get you through normal, maybe elite, but not ultimate. That's where the fun is, at least for me.
i love the weird limitations of leveling, you can plan ahead yea, but you don't just have "that certain amount of points you need"- for x build
(then again i'm not looking up guides/builds either, only game mechanics lol),
i think weird, dysfucntional is hella fun, (probably because it only works on noprm/elite lol)
Ardor of Octavius set (converts to physical) for Inq/Soldier
Elemetal to Vitality on Decree of Malmouth (mace for Necro/inquistor).
Thers a few other items as well.
if you want to use the inquisitor stuff primarily, it's probably best for as a ranged weapon dps build or some sort of elemental caster built around flamethrower thingy and the runes.
Just love areas with hundreds of adds :) still very squishy and the beast nemesis spawn is a no go unless I have a empty so bar as I die 3 or 4 times to take him down.
I also have a two handed ranges build planned for the Purifier that'll focus on fire damage.
Only two combinations for inquisitor that I really know anything about really.
The class makes chthonians a lot easier than they probably should be.
The game is about getting to 85 (or 100). But even without fine tunnimg your build, you need to plan at least a little bit. Putting your devotion and skill ooints at random aill destroy you by the time you reach legendary. Therefor, you need to figure out which skill you really love, and then which skills will support that skill that you love.
