I need to squeeze 1 extra devotion point somehow to fill out "widow".
I require every single one of the affinities except 1 ascendant [Purple].

Trying to make a pure lightning and aether build.

however, you have no flats in this, so i hope you have elsewhere, otherwise it's gonna be a bit "meh" (lightning is a high resist dmg type)

I would rather not have any points left over. I have been sitting here for like 2 hours trying to figure out how to get what I want lol.

2pts left over just means you have wiggle room to "upgrade" or add bonus stuff, ex being left branch in Ultos
the shown map is basically just your template but better optimized affinity-wise, while getting the 4 same devo skills

like i said, you probably want to fit in flat if you don't have it elsewhere, and depending on the build it's highly likely you want to upgrade some devos for sustain/speed/phys res or even all 3
Ultos Spear widow and tempest are totally doable, and an old devo template, but it's "expensive"af/on the more greedy side of devo maps, and usually most builds end up ditching 1 of the big three for the aforementioned "stat trio"

I fuqed around a bit and got your widow + 1 point into Aeon's Hourglass which gives +40 physique/cunning/spirit

Yeah I get that. However I am playing Dawn of Masteries Modded and there are plenty of the dual class combinations that more than make up for that. I just dont enjoy seeing leftover points.

depends if you need chaos resist lol
if you don't, then flat stats are always better/a bonus

Yeah, that's a good setup too but I believe what's bothering you is the OCD. Just ignore the 1 extra purple bubble.
