Unkillable (almost) Pavros Undylon, Flamespeaker

My character is lvl100. I melt most hero enemies in few seconds but this guy... I spent around FIVE MINUTES and didn't take even 2% of his hp. All my attacks (mostly with maxed +few extra levels Flames of Ignaffar) deal hilarious 20-100 dmg. I have no idea wtf is this XD

I think I'll just pass this by. I don't have 10 or something hours for that dude XD

Sure-sure, I have ~700hrs in this game, I never saw such thing, this is obviously a bug.

it's not a bug, you just encountered an enemy with WYSIWYG item, which happened to have elemental resist or whatever dmg type your FoI is doing,
look it up and you can find several instances of this happening, even in SR or Cruci

I don't know what "WYSIWYG item" in Grim Dawn is and I not so sure that this dude has 99.99% resists to any kind of dmg. I mean cmon! How can it be that my attacks deal 20-100dmg when it usually up to 29k (biggest number I can remember)??? Just how? I spent FIVE minutes and nothing! Even lvl1 naked character on Absolute is more effective vs regular hero enemies.

Pavros resists to elemental dmg are 35% btw according to this site

WYSIWYG means "What You See Is What You Get"
it means monsters can spawn with items they actually wear, and most often you can visibly see those items
those items can then have stats, those stats boosts the monsters base stats, in this case resist
take a look at the "notable loot" section of that monster
then if we take ex Shoulders and helm, that's 36+30 elemental resist, then it spawns with minimum 2 affixes, per item, both of which can give elemental resist or whatever dmg type your foi did, easily boosting the monster resist 150-200
it doesn't happen often, but it happens, and it happens enough to annoy Cruci runners that it's getting patched out, but so far only announced for Cruci, not MC or SR - whether the effect will carry over i don't know, kinda doubt it
but what it means is you need a ton more resist reduction than your current build has

PS you forgot to activate his buff that brings him to 55 base resist

It means he's actually carrying an equippable item that can drop (Fabius used to be notorious for occasionally carrying around a Notched Bone of a Thousand Deaths). Human enemies can occasionally equip some very nasty items.

If you are dealing elemental damage it's basically a given these days that you need a metric ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of RR - in your case you're probably doing either fire/lightning or chaos/vitality with FoI. Don't know if you're a Purifier or what exactly but you really, really need a lot of RR (Viper or Ultos proc or Essence of Ch'thon/Hexxer's Kiss or Eternal Band or Open Hand of Mercy, plus Solael's Witchblade, plus Aura of Censure, plus something like Rhowan's Crown proc or Revenant proc or Scales proc, and if your other side is Demo you want Thermite Mines for stackable RR or Blackwater Cocktail for flat RR instead of Crown/Revenant/Scales) and even with all that RR something like an enemy with a WYSIWYG that overcaps their resists or something crazy is going to be a rough ride.

Also if you're level 100 he's probably level 109 due to how enemy level scaling works and at 109 he's got a baseline of 56 on elemental resists.
