Only two mouse buttons?
Can you also place attacks on the third and fourth mouse buttons?
And if not, what are the two strongest attacks you would put on the two mouse buttons?
(I'm lying on the couch while playing and only want to use the mouse).
I think I like the grenades on the right mouse button.

Sounds like you have a gaming mouse of some kind. Does it not come with software (as pretty much all gaming mice tend to) that allows you to configure the buttons however you wish with macros etc?

No it´s not a real gaming mouse, just two more buttons and no software.

You can go to settings and bind your extra buttons to regular skill slots.

You can just rebind it in settings. You know, like almost every modern game?
But be warned, you will need a bit more than 4 buttons.

You definitely can!

Yes I can! Thanks.
Now I can use 3 mouse buttons (one is for switching weapons).
I'm still curious which three active skills you would choose if you only had three available.

Why on earth you need weapon switching? Its ARPG, you dont ever change weapons in combat.
To answer your question is... Complicated. You better of finding answer for yourself. All i can help you with is that skills that can be converted to spamables (Forcewave, Primal strike, ect) or chanelling (Albrechts aether ray, Eye of reconing, ect) are what are you probably after. But there are a lot of ways to build for that.
So, here is compendium, look what you like best: https://forums.crateentertainment.com/t/build-compendium-x-forgotten-gods/49673

I do this often, hit, run away and shot, repeat. And I can use other skills if I want.

Atm I am playing Soldier/ Demolitionist with cadence (rmb) and Grenado (lmb) this is working very well, until level 20 so far. Here I dont need to switch, because it´s all close combat.
Good tips, I´ll take a look at that.

Generally in GD weapon-switching is considered highly sub-optimal (for a number of reasons) and it's probably pretty rare that anyone who isn't new would actively make use of it.

In fact, anytime I reinstall my OS and the game one of the first things I do on setup is disable the W weapon-switch keybind so I don't accidentally trigger it.

I have corsair hardware so I bind the two skills to H and J then in the iCue software bind the extra 2 mouse buttons to those keys

Just copy your save folder over. No re-config needed...ever
