What about non-DLC? Severed Claw maybe?

get dlc :lunar2019laughingpig:

in seriousness tho; get a component for your needs
- if your resists suck maybe purified salt or imbued silver,
if you desperately need lifesteal maybe haunted steel or somethin, and accepting conversion loss,
or anything that boosts dmg, like Oleron Blood
just know that flat phys dmg part of any component wont be that awesome for you
as cadence you want %dmg and attack speed/total speed or a good bonus skill/buff/passive

Yeah I like Hollowed Fang and Haunted Steel (depends upon the build/resists/dmg of course), kinda like a weaker version of Ghoul that is a great circuit breaker (when it all goes wrong and you need to try and sustain health and/or keep the DPS going against a tricky boss without breaking off and kiting).

Alright, I'll look into that, after all I need to get back at Shar'Zul for ending my dungeon run :ccskull:

They are strong components, but they are at their best if you time activating their skill, sometimes this means making some very quick decisions/quick reactions unlike Ghoul that has a threshold.
On the plus is the speed the components skill can be activated again, pretty good interval IMO.

definitely, he made me realize how much I need to strengthen my resistances, dropped me under 5 hits or so.
pff that's nothing, come back when you die halfway through the boss' windup to their 2nd hit :claugh:

You need to get rid of the shield based skills, like overguard, since you don't have a shield and maybe ditch Forcewave and Blade Arce as well. Try something like this[www.grimtools.com], or maybe this[www.grimtools.com].

I have a shield actually, hence the skills. I was still on the fence about switching from Mace&Shield to Twohanders but having double the DPS while being able to keep the health regen% the shield gives plus some more was convincing enough to have made me reallocate some points here and there. I've also gotten rid of the blade arc shortly after opening this discussion, checking out the Twohander just happened to be the first thing I did when entering Devils Crossing. Why should I ditch Forcewave though? Seems to be pretty useful for dealing with crowds and stunning back-row damage dealers when Blitz is on cooldown.

I think @Childe wants you to ditch Forcewave and Blace Arc because u are using Cadence. You either go with Cadence or Forcewave or Blade Arc not all 3.
blade arc is(was) transmuted, and FW wasn't transmuted, there is no Cadence conflict since OPs attack speed is not that great to benefit from cadence anyway, not to mention Cadence+wps with a S&B
the Problem is that Cadence is transmuted, and that sucks - Discord is a crap thing Magnus
also you are way over-investing n WPS (markovians advantage/zolhan) - Markovian's Defense is also crapola skill
Highly suggest getting more points in mastery bar and some more passives and yummy Skill dmg nodes (deadly momentum, blindside, laceration etc etc etc, if going blade arc/cadence)

Alright, I've made some changes in the meantime, reached level 50 aswell (Elite does a thing or two to your XP gain it seems):
https://www.grimtools.com/calc/RVvDy9EN
Focused on other perks while grabbing some resistance-increasing goodies. Now all I need to do is manage components for my new gear - Oleron's Blood [www.grimtools.com] for the Twohander seems like a good candidate for now.

Yeah it was hilarious when I found out how much my DPS increased when I removed the Discord skill, that thing really was :shit:.

as a good rule you "never" want anything that converts damage away from your main dmg type
(as always a couple exceptions can apply to a rule)
