Shattered realm time limit

So im kinda sorta on my "first" playthrough, and im playing on veteran. I reached the shattered realm and i can confortably beat a few shards without dying, but the time limit is very tight. by the time im entering the 3rd chunk im already out of time.
but the question: do you get way better rewards if you beat the time? or i shouldnt worry too much about that now? oh im a lvl 44 soldier/inquisitor

Don't worry about it.
There's hardly a reason to try shattered realm before ultimate anyway, but even there timer rewards are not that big of a deal.

Yeah I wouldn't worry about the time limit. By the time you get to the point of running the SR seriously (e.g., when you have more levels later) you will be strong enough to AOE tons of stuff and cruise through the timers with several minutes to spare. You can still run the SR now if you want, though; it's great XP and you still get credit for the level even if you miss the timer.

Back when they first introduced this I asked the same question. What you get is more chests for beating the timer so its just a matter of loot. Which for alot peeps is the reason to run SR. Now please note I dont do SR so this may have changed. But as far as I know its not a big deal to take a little more time, all you lose is loot. And as others said dont bother with SR till later as the loot drops would be much better for higher levels. But theres others that love running SR to get their chars up faster. So again as most will tell you its just a matter of what you like to do. Personnaly I prefer the campaign.

So I don't need to care about the timer if I'm only doing them for my last few achievements? Sweet, I don't really enjoy that mode...
