Might also be good to know that tanking as a role in this game doesn't quite work like MMOs. This game does not respect the traditional roles like MMOs do. Bosses will still go after the sorcerer at times, regardless of how many taunts you have. Nobody knows exactly how it works, but sometimes just putting a lot of damage on a boss will make them go after you. Sometimes you can just sit in the back doing nothing while your buddy attacks the boss, and the boss will suddenly charge at you.
Relatively new to GD, but I wonder what it was like before!? I have a Templar that has 7500+ retaliation damage and it seems crazy to me.
(It's extremely dull though)
I finished the entire game + all expansions on Ultimate with my Lv.100 Necro pet build.
And it recently got massively buffed, making some ultimate dungeons a breeze with it too.
It DOES require min-maxing your gear and build though. And not just your own resistances to 80, but your pets too. @_@
However.. Pet builds used to be a lot harder to play than sword & board, It took a lot of blood, sweat and tears to finish the game on ultimate with it. Every boss/miniboss will most likely one/two shot you.
That's definitely insane, being 48-50 and dealing 7500 was crazy to me but higher levels dealing that kind of damage for just existing is hilarious.
Maya?
