Stuck on We Need Food
I finally made it to Deadman's Gulch and made it past the immolation, but when I get to the Mine Entrance, it says it's blocked by the Black Legion. Now, everything I've looked up says you need to have a high enough reputation with them, but the only way to start doing quests for them is in Homestead, which is where I'm trying to get to through the Mine Entrance to the Mountain Deeps. I feel like I'm running around in circles and can't find any answers, please help.

Just keep going. If only one path lets you keep going then you can rest assured thats where you are supposed to be headed.

Look closer at the area where Ulgrim is and you will see THE WAY was staring you in the face the whole time.

I know where to go, the door is locked and I don't know how to unlock it

The fact that you said this means you do not know. Go back to Ulgrim, face Ulgrim. Look to your left. Tell me what you see.

We all been there done that our first time thru as well. You just joined the club. The way from Cronley to UC used to be allot more convoluted before they redid the map and made it slightly more on rails for that area.

Honestly all it really takes is to be paying attention (as in actually looking at your surroundings) and realizing that there is a path there. Been awhile since I read the text while interacting with Ulgrim but he might very well tell you as much too.
