Yes, absolutely.
Well you can use them for a permanent summon damage output, or you can just 1 point the main skill and use the add-on skill for much needed resist reduction.

Guardians are immortal player scaled pets, they usually only need resummoning when you start a new game session or you change their skill levels.

An example of a current warlord build I use and its not totally finished: Retaliation Warlord[www.grimtools.com]
you don't need maxed the skill, but maxed the aura instead.

What is the resist reduction ? i dont see it in the description ?
i agree . i have a 100 level warlord with full mythical justice set. the resistance debuff is sooo worth it . added gear can increase it easily to 50% or so. watch everything melt away.

You need to look at the skill Celestial Presence, its an add-on aura skill to Guardian and requires 50 points in the Oathkeeper Mastery to access it.

not the same thing
RR reduces monster/player resist ie increases dmg taken
if you have trouble with aether resist, you just need to up your Aether Resistance

Guardians of empyrion's Celestial presence is meant for Resist Reduction, reducing monster resist to ex fire or phys, so you deal more fire or phys dmg to them. It's not about helping with your own resist/lowering dmg you take

Depends on your Warlord.. most builds just need the RR.
Any Retaliation build will laugh about that little Guardian-dmg :brawler:
Yeah that is true, 400k+ crits for retal vs roughly 150k-280k for 4 Guardians summed crits (see just north of 70K crits per Guardian peak, even higher for low resist enemies) albeit without Guardian boost gear but needing fully debuffed skills boss.
