Death Knight with Kriegs set

I just started a Death Knight build, planning to use Krieg's set, probably 2H melee. I've looked at a few builds that use Bone Harvest instead of Forcewave, but I don't see how Bone Harvest benefits from Krieg's set (phys + aether bonus). Am I missing something? Is Bone Harvest better, or does it just look more impressive?

Doesn't bone harvest cause cold+phys? Krieg gives a lot of physical dmg, and you will have more than aether at the end, but still a bit wierd. If you have some particular builds in mind, look at items closely, maybe they use conversions.

It looks like it works with Leviathan weapon converting cold and vit to phys. Probably not with other weapons. So far, it doesn't look like Bone Harvest is useful for early leveling.

Bone harvest gives a bunch of flat damage to other weapon based attacks for 5 seconds. Thats probably why it's used.

its not weird since you can convert 100% cold and piercing of bone harvest to aether using conduit of undying whispers.
