Shaman
Arcanist
Necromancer
Generally it seems to me that everybody's favorite classes are some combination of these three. Probably in that order. Maybe Oathkeeper a distance 4th since Dervishes and Warlords are also pretty popular.
Yeah I see a lot of people cite Shaman/Occultist as #1 class combo (HC especially), but I don't see a lot of love for other Occultist combinations outside of Shaman. (I only have limited experience with both personally.)
I have an lvl 84 Warlord and currently on a lvl 41 Shieldbreaker doing immense fire damage with Grenado, Vires Might (creating a path of fire) and Thermite Mines (aka portable cremation units)
Both with a damn sexy shield.
Ended up being by far my most powerful character though. The bleed damage just shredded everything before I could blink. The gear I had gave all my bloody pox skills like 8 levels over maximum as well as my blight and weakness moves. 1 button destroyed all resistances, then I'd stack bleed and blight. Became my "right click to win" character. :P
In general I tend to prefer a mono class, but that's probably because I've never made it to super late game before wanting to try a different build. I was having fun with a demolitionist too, but I didn't have any good demo gear, so I shelved him for later.
