3 Stash Tabs and Multiple Characters Missing after patch
New Patch so i thought i'd look in again, try a few of my toons to find the new stuff. I now have 2 toons and only 2 stash tabs open. Before this i had multiple toons and all stash tabs open... Has this happened to any1 else ?

it's possible the update somehow changed/reset your savegame location and in that location you didn't have all your stuff - go to options if cloud saves are ticked on try untick the box restart game and see if your toons reappear (if it doesn't then reverse the action again)
- it's also possible somehow one of your dlc got deactivated, and the game is now showing you your pre dlc progress instead, if that's the case just make sure the dlc is enabled in your steam library game's settings

Tried both, no joy. Its a good job i love this game (1k + hrs), and don't mind grinding it all back again :0
i mean that's the only 2 scenarios i can imagine that can potentially accomplish what you say happened.... aside cloud saves somehow reverting to a much earlier point of progress, which wouldn't be totally impossible but just very far out there since steam cloud updates frequently if on and doesn't sync "down" unless made so
so i guess the question is when you say you thought you'd "look again" - how long has it been since you last played and was it on the same system/no wiped data?

Try enabling cloud again in the ingame settings and reboot. If they still aren't visible go to the Network tab (ingame settings) and press the download saves button in this location and then disable cloud again and reboot the game.

Thx for trying to help :) Not seeming to work unfortunately. It's been about 3 months since i last played. I haven't changed anything on the game... files, saves, etc. I play mostly Hardcore, so losing the extra equipment is a slight pain, and i had a couple of half decent lvl 50 ish chars. But, as i said before i will just create new toons and regrind the stuff i lost

Navigate here: C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\Documents\My Games\Grim Dawn\save\main

(note: I am assuming you followed my steps involving navigating to the Network tab and pressing the Download Cloud Saves button and that cloud saving was disabled after doing so)

..you should see several folders bearing your various characters name here, each should have a single underscore character preceding the name of the character. Can you verify if any of these characters have 2 underscores instead of 1?

Hi, i have now looked there. 1 char with 1 underscore next to the name. Thx for trying to help, was really just wondering if this had happened to some1 else, not a complaint as such.

That is curious then. What happens if you navigate to the root Steam folder (that contains the steam.exe) and then type in one of your missing characters names in the search field in Windows Explorer?
