potion of clarity?
I was very disappointed when I realized that the potion of clarity is only a temporary buff that dissapears when character dies or loggs off the game. It costs 40k iron and for me as a new player, and it is hard to get that much iron just to be wasted. Crate definitely should have made a better system for leveling alts especially after having soo many different builds and masteries to go for.

Moreover, I found that Lokarr set is the only one for lv1 characters. I still don't have that set and in order to get it, I need to have a good lv100 character capable of defeating most of Ultimate difficulty, which I don't.

Now all this makes me install one of those mods that increase exp gained, reduces level requirement for items. But breaks the game and makes me feel bad about it.

This situation basically killed my desire to play the game, because I feel like I'm wasting a lot of time.

Sounds like a personal problem

Sounds like you need to send friend requests to patience and perseverance.

What made you think they're for new players? They're not. Put in the work.

all this stuff u are talking about are end game content.. wouldnt be fun if u could have everything in 30 hours of gameplay

The problem is not on the game, is you trying to use resources you don't have on something meant to be used by players that are experienced with the game. Is easy to make that amount if you just level up to a certain point and sell trash items.

I started out for like my first 30 maybe 40 lvl's collecting everything yellow and above then switched to green and above around 40 something filled my bag's gated to town sold and came back.

Say around mid 20's had almost all group stash unlocked, no worries really on buying things if I needed them and was getting occasional items for other characters if they looked really nice.

I started out went to like first portal and leveled my character to like 6 or so got the starter greens, then did crucible to get my 6 devotion points and pretty much started the game from there. I did depraved sanctuary a half dozen or so times just to get a few pieces I wanted ( pet build) and moved on.

I don't do potions in most games but can understand if you got one with a time limit or limits set to it that were not clearly explained in detail for you to see.

Making money isn't that hard even starting out though depends on your play style you set it to green and above and only take what you need or don't fill bags to sell then yeah going to be a issue.

the whole point of the lokarr set and the XP potions is to twink your alternate characters after you get to endgame stuff with one character. you're not supposed to use that stuff on your first toon.

Bro, there is a lot of builds in the class compendium ( Forum) . When u leard the mechanics, u ll see that GD is an easy game to lv up and there is no need for pots to get fun. Even if u want pots... get a party on multiplayer...40k is rlly easy and fast to farm! Cheers!

Those potions are endgame. At that point you know the mechanics, and the game should already have thaught you long ago (because, you can at least afford 1 after a while) that buffs are lost after death or resetting the game.

Not to be mean but did you really think a potion that requieres maxing the reputation of a DLC faction and it's made for alt chars and a set that drops from a lvl 100+ secret super boss that's also made for alt characters and that combined give +90% extra XP should be easy to get for new players?

That's end game content made to help veteran players level up new characters faster, same as using the merits to start elite or ultimate at low level and skip content that you already done many times.

If you don't have the patience to get them then you probably shouldn't play a game where most of the loot progression is RNG.

EDIT: Also at max level making money in this game is quite easy, just farming the rogue-like dungeons, doing high level Shattered Realms, high level Crucible or the easist way farming one shot chest (the ones that you need dynamite to open) will drown you in so much iron that you will need to craft hundreds of gear to lose it.

If the above explanations don't make you happy and you simply must have them you can always use GD Stash or something similar to give yourself as many as you want. Crate made the game moddable for a reason after all.
