Depraved Sanctuary

Long version: So, I got this quest forever ago, Ive looked at quest log for it but it provides no context. I remember getting the key from the guy in Devils Crossing but I have no Idea where im even looking. Im level 33 now, in the broken hills, im where Ive gotten the skeleton key/recipe an slayed the ghost lady's harpy daughter. I some how feel at this point, Ive definitely missed something.

Short version: where the flip is it?

[edit: I tried doing a search on this topic but I couldnt see anything relating to location, just people talking about it in general, an from that im assuming its a dungeon like the ones skeleton keys unlock.]

There are 2 ways to get the key for the Depraved Sanctuary. The first involves making the correct conversation decisons with the man in Devil's Crossing. If you kill him instead, then the second method for obtaining the key is to keep killing the cultists outside the Sanctuary in that small area until one drops the key. The second method is just RNG. Some people grind on them for a long time til it drops, others (like me) got it on my first run through that small area. Good luck :)

Sorry, I may have misunderstood your post lol. If you're looking for the Sanctuary itself it's in a small area east of the road and well east of the small camp where you find the the younger dude who wants to be a blacksmith (sorry, forgot the name of the area). There will be a breakable wall along the road and then a smallish area with a buncha cultists. On the far right of that area is the door to the Sanctuary

The Sancuary itself is before Burrwitch village portal, just keep heading right from the burrwitch outskirts portal. You'll know you're close when you see some cultists! The end boss was lvl 40 from what I remember so be prepared.

Yes, Burrwitch Outskirts, that's the one I was thinking of. Couldn't remember the name of the area for the life of me. Got the map memorized around there, but names.....nope lol

It scales a bit, but he's always 5-6 levels higher than you though I think it maxes at some point

Actually I did a Google search earlier for Grim dawn map depraved sanctuary, and there was a screenshot of that portion of map from the portal to the door with a route mapped out and everything. I tried to copy it here, but it was giving me issues.
