where do you farm your eldritch horror infamy?

Essences are easiest to farm via the Shattered Realm, since you'll always get 2 or more for a 10 shard run it seems. I think also running 5 shards will grant you at least one.

Otherwise, you're going to have to hit purple named eldritch enemies and only Korvaak's Temple has 3 in succession. Though you need to be able to kill Korvaak to get the 3rd, which isn't easy for every build.

And to max the possible number of bosses to farm you need to:

1) Not save the bloodsworn in Ashes of Malmouth, which results in a purple griffon construct to fight instead of the rylok in the Temple of Ateph.

2) Side with the Cult of Dreeg, which grants you 2 bosses to farm or side with Soleal to gain access to The Map Room of Rahn which has 3 eldritch constructs, which seem to have a similar chance to drop essences as other bosses.

lawl, I figured that might be that :P

Anyhow - for infamy, the quickest way is to kill bosses and for that the Tomb of Korvaak is your best bet since it has 3, with Korvaak himself granting the biggest infamy gain when you kill him.

anywhere with lots of Eldricht, "spam packs" the better, cairan docks or the route from waypoint at Remnant of korvan city to eldrictch sun lvl 2
i thought running post Kymon waypoint to korvak would give good/better infamy but seemed it was a fair bit less overall(for me), so i just kept running the 2 prior levels and ended up ignoring Korvaak(seemed to not give more infamy than regular "boss" anyway -which are faster kills)
elditch sun temple has so many and tight packs you can spam kill loads in there pretty fast if you arent strugglign with the gang mobbing

yeah i completed it a friend of mine needed the second expansion for his new character so i could finish both tasks

For anyone else who googles this and finds this. While not definite, I did these and a few other runs I found mentioned online. MY result for infamy gains were about:

temple of Ateph (ruins of abyd) - 250
tomb of sephen (infernal wastes) - 230

Tomb of Korvaak - 0 lol (I think he meant tomb of eldricht sun and fighting korvaak)

cairan docks - 700

route from waypoint at Remnant of korvan city to eldrictch sun lvl 2
Korvon city to eldritch sun tomb rift - 550
Eldritch sun tomb rift rift down to lvl 2 - 800
so more than 1.3k total!

Eldritch gate rift to korvak - 250, plus another 75 from korrvak

So, gNuff has the right idea.
Cairn docks and then Korvon city to lvl 2 of Eldritch sun tomb are where it's at. Fight Kymon if you want, but I find him tricky, so I think I will end my runs there.
Hopefully not much longer, and I will be nemesis :-D
