Ugdenbog... Could we make it suck a little less?
Pretty much everything north of Burrwich and South of Lone watch... It needs something to make it less tedious. The plants take too long to kill, the elementals hit with that -30% attack speed debuff that makes you stare at them not really hurting you for 30% longer... The cannibals are alright but they don't really have their story explained, the zone could be a buildup for later but it isn't really. It's several hours of hitting plants, completely unnecessary and it fails to really contribute to the story.

It's a long, slow slog, and the one zone that I dread coming to and never really visit afterwards. Not sure if other players feel the same, but I do see it as a blemish on an otherwise perfect game.

I visit those jungles quite often to be honest:)
I like the roguelike in it, I like Kra'val, I like going to Ravager from time to time to die a violent and gory death >.>

It is one of my favorite zones.

But then, it doesn't take me hours to clear through it. You playing retaliation or something? Plants should die instantly, they are not that tanky.

I'm using lightning btw and they MELT! Too bad they're not made of cheese xD

also the visual and sound-design (ambience) is quite amazing. but tastes differ i guess.

No, retaliation builds were never very fun. I have had issues with this on various characters, bleed tanks, pet builds, DW pistol's... Issue isn't that the zons is difficult, issue is that it is dull. Even with the higher DPS builds, it's killing stationairy plants that there are far too many of, and that don't die quickly and then respawn right after they die.

Their mobility is also kinda lacking, so if I dont feel like fighting plants.....

If it's taking you too long to kill the monsters in Ugdenbog, then it's really just a situation of you needing to git gud. They shouldn't be that hard.

i would be more appreciative of ugdenbog if it didnt melt through my summoner build in seconds because of an absolutely obscene amount of area damage it throws at the player. builds that allow for consistent kiting damage work great, or totem builds as well.

anything else ends up feeling incredibly tedious. i like minion based builds and this area is the bane of my friggin existence.

Well, I like Ugdenbog's atmosphere, I feel it's swamps done right, there is a good variety of enemy (plants/golems/crabs/cannibals/specters/beasts), the areas are not intricate, there is no damaging floor, nah, I like if, definitely!
