Cosmetic enhancements
I'm sure this has been brought up before, and there's likely technological/budget reasons why it has never been done -- but it would be a nice improvement if we were offered a few different heads, hair styles, hair colors, etc. during character creation. Nothing that would require armors to be redone or anything.

This title is still getting regular updates, so maybe there's a chance. Even just a "hide helmet" (which is a fairly commonplace feature) would be great.

Nope, engine cant do it. Been asked a ton in past.

Closest is the transmogrification. There are a few illusuions in the supporters pack but not what you are wanting.

Your armor IS your cosmetics. There is no need for this. That's why they made the Illusionist's.

You misunderstand. I was asking for head cosmetics (hair, beard, hide helmet, etc.) Not the same thing.

There is only a basic male and female template for GD characters, the rest of any cosmetics you may desire is going to come from your gear. The game was not designed to adjust facial and body features on the cahracter template itself.

There is no point to cosmetic features for your character. You will be covered by armor all the time anyway. Development resources are better spent elsewhere.

I'm always a fan of better cosmetics in the games I play, but I agree, in GD, there's really no point, given the almost isometric nature and the plethora of gear and illusions you can use.

The fact that there are so many awesome helmets in the game turns beard and hair cosmetic pointless.

Moreover, when you play - the camera usually far enough to obscure these facial hair features anyway.

When you play, indeed, but not when you look on the character select screen. But yeah, no facial customization, there are only the circlets if you want to see your character's face. I'm kinda hoping for a mod with more hair/skin colors at one point, there is a nice one for Titan Quest, I just love some thematic customization not solely based on gear.
