Best place to farm legendaries is...

Malmouth Outskirts -> Burning Cellar -> kill Ternoxx in ELITE.

I've been looking all over Google, and trying routes everywhere, to get good level 94 legendaries, then saw someone mention Ternoxx (purple named boss) in an unrelated thread.

Wow; this is simply the best farm for legendaries in the game. It takes ~20 seconds to get there (Burning Cellar) from the waypoint (Malmouth Outskirts), and you can run past everything easily; no need to fight on the way. The Burning Cellar is small and easy on Elite (lvl 92ish mobs, not sure what Ternoxx is, but he is easy too). There is also a Dynamite on the ground further in, and you can just run past everything and grab it easily on Elite.

Why not Ultimate? The drops are the same (lvl 94 legendaries) and it is far faster on Elite. I ran it 10 times to see if it was any good in Elite and got 4 Legendaries including Kriegs Boots. If Ternoxx spawns in the spot near (er) to the entrance, it takes a whopping 3 minutes to finish.

Anyone got any other like this?

I think the 'faster' bit boils down more to the build itself, the gear already equipped etc.

Thanks for the tip, seems pretty darn good to get interesting items before even going into ultimate.

Plus it needs 0 skeleton key :)

I ran this route about 50-60 times to get the set for my death knight (I forget what it's called) I got so, so sick of seeing the same sht over and over. I would rather get less goodies and just run random Ultimate content. The same path over and over drives me insane.

He is good for farming as is Valexteria who you can reach in a similar amount of time, as purple bosses they have decent drop rates (honestly comparable to fabius recently who just drops garbage for me of late) however the issue when farming these long term is they have a fairly high chance to drop kriegs pieces which is great if you want kriegs set but once you have it just feels annoying to get more bits you dont need.

The best farm areas in the vanilla game remain SOT and possible BOC though its a bit more long winded. If you run it a few times youll easily earn enough to self fund running it with key creation. For places that dont need keys Cronleys whole area is still amazing in terms of mob density and hero spawns and ease of mobs (despite fabius being crud these days)

Outside the main game crucible is easily the best place to farm overall in terms of purely getting good MIs and purples but you wont get many rare mats and such to fund new builds so it has its limitations (and its kinda headache inducing after a bit)

This run is super quick HOWEVER... there is a lore from dario that I absolutely can not pick up. Totally bugged and drives me crazy. I have yet to receive a legendary from the dude in 5 runs. tainted brain matter 3/5 and missive 2/5

Lore scrolls you can't pick up are those you've already read with that character, in this case probably in Normal/Vet.

The boots have just under a 5% drop chance.
