Too many Dermapteran Slicers

Just the weapon I needed to continue leveling my armor piercing dual welding build.

There are a ton of these weapons, and not all are created equal.. My Infiltrator went through about 16 of them before finding the best combinations. I was doubtful initially, I really liked my cold/sacred strike weapons. But further experimentation made a believer out of me. Best augments are Vicious Spikes on one, and Blessed Whetstone on the other. This gives you the Empowered Impaling Weapons perk, and lets you use Behead as a Secondary attack mode while you are waiting out the CD on Shadow Strike.

For best results, you need 2 Devotions: Assassin's Blade and Blades of Nadaan. I also picked up Ghoul as a Devotion; between that and Pneumatic Burst, I regenerate a fair amount of damage.

Note that skills also play a part. Shears, Quickcut and Whirling Death make it easy to slaughter trash mobs en masse. I'm currently at level 41; by the time I hit level 50, I should also have 4 ranks of execute as well.

As far as the Inquisitor Mastery, forget about any ranged weapon skills. But do note that Deadly Aim works with melee weapons as well as ranged; grab a few ranks of that and get enough cunning so that you can crit foes fairly easily. Word of Renewal and Inquisitors seal will complement the effects of Ghoul and Pneumatic Burst.
