raw stats, as in benefits from individual nodes, no, pets don't gain anything from those nodes unless it says "bonus to all pets", just like gear
procs however, the final node in many constellations, do affect/benefit pets, greatly even. Dmg devotions, like Flame Torrent will scale of the attached pet's dmg, and say if you have 10 skeletons, well then you've got a royal feck ton of proc chance to constantly spawn fire rings
as always Resist Reducts will always help, so having something like Rhowans Crown or Rattosh, could then massively boost pets dmg, depending on pet dmg type ofc
and ofc then there are defensive devotions, that heal, protect, absorb etc, which would then just help to not have your pets end up dead as quick.
Usually you want a mix a both, stuff that boost pets, as you don't benefit much from many nodes yourself, ex dmg nodes, as pet lord,- except from resist etc defensive nodes which you likely do want. And then ofc a bunch of nice proc devotions for your pets, be it RR, heals or just pure dmg boosts
tho i think i see Sheperds Crook mostly always taken, as it's easy and ofc a pure pet buffer
If it is the case that the final proc-node in a tree has an affect on pets then why don't they specifically say "bonus to all pets"? Howl of Mogdrogen says "...all pets" on its proc-node...Flame Torrent does not. It's almost as if Crate Entertainment made a deliberate effort to make it confusing. I think I'm gunna have to redo my devotions...I'll stick with the ones that specifically say "bonus to all pets". Thanks, my friend!
howl is a buff, therefore it needs to specify it also affects pets, unlike auras which don't need to specify that
dmg procs are different, as they "come from what attached to"; so if it's attached to a pet, it comes from the pet, thus scales from the pet's dmg, but has no otherwise bonuses for the pet, therefor needs no such mention.
Sorta "simple" if you will, if it's something direct, ex dmg or life leech, it procs from the skill it's attached to, since pets is essentially a skill, they can make those types proc too themselves, and ofc in effect to life leech or heals then benefit from it too ex Twin Fangs -but since it doesn't "boost", buff or benefit the pet as a stat, it has no mention of it like so
Because they aren't "bonuses to pets", they're devotion procs that can be assigned to pets and trigger off of a pet's attack. It doesn't get added to "all pets". For example you could assign Bat Fangs to Briarthorn and his attacks would have a chance to trigger the proc, which would heal him, but it wouldn't affect any other pets.
