Ashes 2.5 years
FG 1 year
So you expect newer releases to be discounted as much as the original.
Everytime there is a post like this another whale dies
If anything the base game being 80% off gets NEW people in the door and possibly MORE inclined to purchase the expansions since they save a big chunk of money on the base game. It makes perfect sense that the newer items won't receive as large of a discount as the oldest item in the lineup. This is Market 101 material. You act like you were born yesterday or something.
I see nothing wrong with this and everything wrong with distorted and warped mentalities such as the OP displays along with a clear inability to logic reasonably and zero understanding of how the market works.
If anything it's pretty damned awesome of Crate to be willing to FREQUENTLY discount their baby 80% off in pretty much every sale these days. 5 bucks for a measly $25 game they STILL are updating to this day, and that's the base game too that receives just as much updates as the expansions - except for expansion related material and new features.
Get over yourself already. I see you're from Texas and here in the good ol' United States you can make $25 at minimum wage in about 2 and a half hours at the register at McDonalds. I don't even want to hear it and considering that you were dogging on GD in the Shadows: Awakening forum I don't even know why you are acting like you're upset.
Medea already said it is 2.5 years old, with the base game being 4 years old, learn to read…
Also, it is not just a matter of how old something is, but of how well it still sells without a discount and GD apparently does sell well enough still at full price to not warrant steeper discounts
Ashes was released autumn 2017 so 4 years.
In any case most projects will go on sale with like -67% at least in 2 years since release.
About it sells well, i'm sure it does, but for example i doubt Red Dead Redemption 2 sells bad, and it is -50%... I can add two bucks (literally) and buy it instead of Grim dawn + dlcs. It was just for example, i own RDR2.
