Question about celestial powers
So I've just recently got my first character that I have stuck with for more then 30 levels and have a few celestial powers. Some of the ones that activate at certain health thresholds I have questions about so I dont screw myself somehow. Say I have Mehnir's Will and a celestial power on that skill, if that skill can activate any time normally, can it still activate any time when on mehnir's will or only when the conditions for mehnir's will are active (33% hp) for example?

turtle or ghoul have 100% active when you have certain % of health, don't linked them to menhir will is not a good idea.

will they not activate? or will they only activate at menhir wills activation which is lower? what about something like behemoth where its 15% chance any time? will it still be any time or only when menhir's will is on below 33% hp?

simply don't attach anything to menhir will(really), because it only "active" at 33% HP, and it will heal you too, so devotion power that only active in certain threshold will have lower chance to active because you get healed. so it kinda useless if you linked it to mehir will.

behemoth have 15% chance active when you get hit at anytime, if you linked it with menhir will, you need menhir will to active first.

Ok thanks. was mainly wondering cause for the time being i have more celestial powers in my build then passive buffs from skills so i need to pick and choose. something will probably end up on menhirs will just because i have nothing else to put it on.

I don't know if this is accurate or wise to do with Menhir's Will, but I put mine on Devotional skills (Celestial) that have "X% chance to activate when hit" (enemy hits you). I'm not using a circuit breaker on a circuit breaker, and not using it on a "%chance to activate on hit" (you're doing the damage). I hope this is correct to do, if not, I apologize for any bad advice.

Some devotions (rat, eel, etc.) don't need to be bound to anything, which make matters a lot simpler. For those that do require such a thing, I try to use passive skills that I basically always have in effect (flame touched and the like), or, failing that, skills that I use fairly commonly in combat (Demon Breath, for example).

So, my Apostate has Ghoul bound to Spectral Binding (always in effect), while Dryad is bound to Bone Harvest (used almost every combat). Skills that are based on procs are least desirable, for me at any rate. Skills like Bursting Round, for example

My build has the Tortoise (Activates 100% at 40% hp), Behemoth (15% chance when hit), Chariot of the Dead (20% chance when hit), Tree of Life (25% chance when hit) and Bull which is added to my main attack. Currently I have skills for Behemoth, Chariot and Tree of life to go on. Tortoise got left with mehnir's will so once i hit that 33%, its fulfils the condition of both and I think they both happen, but that makes it so Tortoise cant activate right at 40 and needs mehnir's will to happen first. If Im understanding this right then Im fine with this as is. If tortoise just isnt working or cant activate for some reason ill drop one point into field command and go with that.
