Is there a way to 'transfer' my quest and progress?

Hi, i recently started a new game and was wondering if i could transfer my quest and progress from my other save file to the new one? I wanted to created a character but i dont want to finish the game 3 more times just to get to ultimate. Oh and i just want to transfer my quest and progress like maps not character info and the like. Thanks.

You'd likely have to use a 3rd party tool like GD Defiler in order to complete quests and open map waypoints without actually doing them, but actually transferring progress from one save to another isn't possible.

What would be the purpose of that and not simultaneously also adjusting your level etc? It would do you no good to do the one thing and not the other as the character would, in all likelihood, not survive even the first mob you run into on Ultimate thanks to being inappropriately leveled and geared.

You either do this all the way or not at all, in other words.

doesnt the lv85 toon ppl download already have quest and stuff done?

If you open your savegames folder in the explorer and then navigate to /save/main/<characterName>, you will find another folder called "levels_world001.map". This one contains world map and quest progression for each difficulty. Just copy that to the new characters folder. Never tried it myself, but should work.

Thats kinda hardcore mode, make a level 1 character, unlock ultimate, and have every quest already completed, trying to survive.. ^^
