What do you guys do with Epics?

AJust curious what everyone else is doing with the abundance of Epic gear you don’t need? Is it worth it to farm dynamite and break it down or do you just sell it to vendors?

Loving this game btw! Currently in elite at blood grove gate slashing and bashing my way through!!!!

I used to stash and share it all, then on my next set of characters I blew it all up.

Now I'm building a new set I am stashing and sharing again.

I'd farm aether crystals to make dynamite and blow up everything not needed. Got a good chance of getting some rare mats and bits.

I can understand why anyone barely plays HC multiplayer. I really do.

There're some BiS epic items, but epic set items are too difficult to find in full set (or too expensive to craft+transmute) to be useful in the prospect, while non-set epics are just repeating to drop guano. Although I've got a LOT of pleasure and satisfaction blowing the F out of two full stash bags of damn Padala's will, I'd be more interested in some item drop diversity (multiple baldir and daega sets, as well as damn aethersteel arbiter, say 'hi' here).

Yeah, I do see a lot of the same items drop over and over. It seems to me that rares are the best items it just takes forever to find that sweet roll! It’s awesome when you do though.

After a while you learn what epic items are worth keeping and what arent. Mythical Final March for example, definitely worth keeping to plug up end game resistance holes.

1. I keep at least one copy of each epic item I've found.
   
2. If the item has any real usefulness at all I'll keep a few copies, 3-5 maybe, so that I can sort through them and use the best one when I next make whatever character it would be useful for.
   
3. For the items that have some potential to be BiS at either endgame or while leveling I'll continue picking up those with very high rolls in whatever stats are most critical for that item (% damage conversion, phys res, oa/da, etc.) and again sort through and use the best one when I need it.
   
4. Level 94 epics that don't meet the above criteria maybe or may not get the dynamite, depending on how much dynamite I have, my mood, phase of the moon, and whether or not I've lost my rabbit's foot.
   
5. If I'm speed running for whatever purpose (those infernal legendary MI rings, SR, etc.) or if the item does not meet the specs for #s 1, 2, or 3, the item gets vendored.

Obviously I'm not doing this all in my shared stash - I use GDStash[forums.crateentertainment.com] to store the items I find, for which I keep 1-3 dedicated shared stash pages so I don't have to stop and transfer stuff too often. I also don't use cloud saves because that complicates things for GDStash and I'm not interested in all the potential headaches that arise from "The Cloud" no matter how magical Marketing and Sales claim it will be/is.

I ones replaced all the blues I found worth collecting for Purples, which I've found worth collecting.
Now I rarely give them much thought , if they're not usefull to the character I play.
I might use some dynamite else.
Especially during the progression of the game replacements of items is often a thing.
At a point an item can seem unusefull because of the stats and effects it provides.
And then Storage can be a huge limit, so at a point most blues , except a lv 50 jewelry set is gone, or Callagadras visor is stored as well.
It's become over 80% purple though for me.

I save some, but otherwise dynamite anything I already have copies of, or if they go to one of my mule characters - sell off to help buy more stash tabs. But by dismantling them it helps save me from having to farm as much, since I get a lot of components and crafting materials out of it.

Some of the 94 stuff can be pretty good. I like putting sets together as well, just for fun.

sometimes epic items can perfectly complete a build. Since i have 2/3 endgame builds that uses at least one blue, i keep at least 1 copy of each blue i find.
